Cash+ / Capital Plus
We partnered with Capital Plus and their agile team to lead and manage the development of the CASH+ mobile application. Our product management responsibilities included market research, authoring and owning the product roadmap, feature list development, wireframe creation, backlog prioritization and maintenance, and the facilitation of testing and user feedback.

The application had both local and international components, and needed to integrate the APIs of a number of strategic partners to facilitate a range of services that delighted users. We also helped the company source and contact over 80 different fintech service providers to secure the strategic partners needed to facilitate the application’s services while adhering to global legal and compliance requirements.

CASH+ was certified by the Central Bank of Sudan, after being rigorously tested for security and proper integration with the national payment infrastructure.

A suite of product management tools were used in the development of the CASH+ application to organize and develop ideas, create and comment on designs, list and prioritize features and user stories, and communicate across teams.

Feature planning

After analyzing the features and design of the top international and local competitor applications, we created a comprehensive product roadmap and feature list for the CASH+ application. We also created mockups to display the ideal layout and user interface to provide ease and familiarity to both local and international users.

Strategic planning

Extensive problem solving and planning was needed to innovate on a solution that could make money movement into and out of Sudan possible. After being cut off from the international financial community for decades, there were no international rails into or out of the local banking system. We partnered with Capital Plus executives to create a solution that involved stable coins, liquidity pools in different currencies, and banking partners to hold, transfer, and convert funds.
